Personal Trainer In Summerlin: A Local's Guide To Private Coaching

The Ridges, The Paseos, Red Rock Country Club. What private in-home training actually looks like here.

Summerlin is one of the best-designed places in the country to train from home. Big kitchens for real food. Garages that stay usable most of the year. Long driveways for sled work and carries. Trails five minutes away for real conditioning. Most Summerlin homeowners have a private gym they've never used — their own house.

The Summerlin problem with big-box gyms

Between the drive to a Life Time or an EOS, the wait for a squat rack at 6pm, and a program built by a coach who has 40 other clients, most Summerlin professionals quit inside 12 weeks. It's not willpower. It's format.

The equipment I bring

  • Adjustable dumbbells (5–75 lb)
  • One kettlebell your size
  • Suspension trainer + door anchor
  • Long resistance band + a mini band
  • A single mat, a timer, a notebook

A typical Tuesday session

  1. 5 min: mobility while we catch up on your week
  2. 15 min: heavy compound — goblet squat, DB press, or single-leg hinge
  3. 10 min: superset — row + core, or press + carry
  4. 5 min: finisher — kettlebell swings, sled push in the driveway, or step-ups on the porch
  5. 5 min: cool-down + program the week
